Thermal Bonding Performance
Low melt fiber is used as a bonding component in fiber blends. Its bonding behavior depends on the selected grade and the thermal process. Confirm the supplier-specified activation range and validate temperature, dwell time and blend ratio on your production equipment.
Process Validation
There is no single blend ratio suitable for every product. Trial the selected grade under your production conditions and assess bonding strength, stiffness, thickness retention and shrinkage. Confirm the process window before bulk production.
Applications
Suitable grades can be evaluated for mattress and furniture padding, garment insulation, automotive nonwoven materials and other thermally bonded structures. Define the required bonding and end-use performance before selecting the fiber.
