Applications in Home Furnishings, Automotive Materials and Non-woven Products
Low melt fiber is used in home furnishings such as mattresses, sofas, garment padding and palm mattresses, as well as automotive sound and heat insulation materials, automotive interiors and non-woven products such as silk-like cotton and filter materials.
The brochure also notes that addition rates vary by end product, with 5%–50 % as the general range, around 7 % for silk-like cotton series and around 40 % for hard cotton and palm mattresses.
