Antibacterial Performance
Antibacterial polyester staple fiber is intended for applications where antibacterial performance is required. Confirm the test method, organisms assessed, measured result and durability conditions for the selected grade. Fiber-level antibacterial performance does not by itself establish sterility or the suitability of a finished medical product.

Antibacterial polyester staple fiber can be spun pure or blended with natural fibers and other chemical fibers for bedding, furniture cloths, decorative fabrics, hygiene accessories, hospital bedding, surgical gowns, doctors’ uniforms, patients’ uniforms, clothing for the food industry, gloves and various underwear and clothing products.
Non-woven products made from antimicrobial fibers can also be used for disposable hygiene materials such as sterile surgical gowns and caps, masks, hygiene covering materials, shoe insole linings and filter materials.

UV-resistant polyester staple fiber can be evaluated for textiles requiring reduced ultraviolet transmission. Assess UV protection on the finished fabric because performance also depends on construction, weight, color and finishing. Any infrared-reflection or cooling claim requires separate supporting test data.
