GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The four-day global nonwovens industry flagship event, INDEX™26, came to a successful close today at Palexpo in Geneva. Makeit exhibited its range of sustainable fiber products at the booth.
Facing increasingly stringent environmental regulations and strong market demand for biodegradable materials, Makeit showcased its diverse portfolio of sustainable fiber solutions at the exhibition, including PLA fiber, viscose staple fiber, Soybean Protein Fiber, and other biodegradable materials.
During the exhibition, the Makeit technical team held in-depth discussions with potential partners on key topics such as “carbon reduction at the fiber source,” “feasibility of closed-loop recycling,” and “process adaptability of bio-based materials in wet-laid nonwovens.” The functional samples exhibited by the company drew preliminary cooperation interest from several leading international companies.
“INDEX™26 is not just an exhibition window; it is an important milestone for our dialogue with the international market,” said the overseas business head of Makeit. “We start at the fiber source, committed to making green no longer a premium option but a basic standard for the industry. We look forward to translating these conversations into concrete joint development and long-term supply partnerships.”
As INDEX™26 concludes, Makeit will continue to rely on its R&D and production base in Suzhou to accelerate the industrialization of a new generation of bio-based fibers. The company sincerely invites global industry partners to stay connected and work together to open a new green chapter for nonwoven materials.
